Fest at Night 07 at the Wolf

Whether you've spent your Jazzfest nights at the Howlin Wolf for the last twenty years or it's your first time in New Orleans, this years "Fest at Night" schedule is sure to entertain.

New Orleans funk/jazz legends will grace the stage almost nightly in supergroups including The Midnight Disturbers, Voice of the Wetland All-Stars, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, The N'awlins Funkmasters, Bayou Rendezvous, and The Krewe of Zigaboo. They funk it up, so you can get down. Plus, you can catch always-great sets by local artists like Henry Butler, Theresa Andersson, The Rebirth Brass Band, Allen Toussaint, Marcia Ball, and Cowboy Mouth. If you're looking for some non-natives, check out national acts such as Little Feat, Fishbone, and Medeski Martin & Wood. That's right, MMW is performing at the Wolf on May 3rd! Get your tickets early, because it's going to sell-out fast.

With star-studded funky supergroups, a seemingly endless supply of local legends, and a smattering of non-native greats, the Wolf is the place to spend your nights during Jazzfest.

See Ya At The Wolf!

"I'm rich, biaaaaach!"

If you've ever watched Chappelle's Show, you know Donnell Rawlings for his roles as 'Ashy Larry' or his jeary-curl wearing character, 'Beautiful'. You've probably even said "I'm rich, biaaaaach!" once, or a hundred times. But he doesn't just do TV -- Donnell Rawlings is also a hilarious stand-up comedian that everyone should see live at least once. Well, it's your lucky day, because he's coming to the Howlin Wolf on Friday the 13th. Don't let the date scare you - the only thing you have to fear is laughing so hard you wet yourself.
